Vacation and other thoughts

I am so looking forward to going away for a week. I love my Emma dog, but it is like having a child, every once in a while you need a break! The last long break I had was last August when I had my shoulder surgery. Not a vacation I will remember in pictures.

Fall teased us last week. I actually thought about pulling out the down quilt -- it was back up in the mid-nineties today. It does feel different though. Maybe it is the shorter days with a hint of cool weather in the mornings.

My buddy MB came over yesterday and we dug up overgrown plants to divide, share and replant. It was fun! Unfortunately, something I came in contact with caused me to break out up both arms. It is itchy as hell! Yes, dear, next time I will wear a long sleeve shirt. I hate that he is always right!

6 days to vacation. Taos here we come!
